Hôtel Montesol Experimental Ibiza
HOTEL • More than 90 years after its opening, the mythical Montesol Hotel is beginning its second life. Built in 1933 in the historic heart of Ibiza, this neo-colonial building is living a new golden age almost a century after its construction, re-enchanted by the Experimental Group and by the interior designer of Bubble Home, Dorothée Melichzon.
At its peak in the 1950s-1980s, the Montesol Experimental Hotel was a gateway to the White Island’s hedonistic elite. Today, it offers a cocktail of fresh colours and hippie chic influences.
The rooms are bathed in a soothing, sunny palette, perfectly balanced by the cosmic elements that dot each room. Anna Alexandra’s masks and the details of fringes and tassels plunge you into a bohemian universe, while Diego Faivre’s stools, with their « modelling clay » effect, add a playful touch.
