Clay Court Club by Cristina Celestino
MILAN DESIGN WEEK • Like every year for the Milan Design Week, Cristina Celestino invests in Milan’s emblematic addresses. Hidden gems that she likes to reinvent. Last year, for example, she annexed the interior of the emblematic florist Angelo Radaelli Fioraio.
Today, it is the mythical Milano Bonacossa tennis club designed by Giovanni Muzio in 1923 that she is tackling, transforming three indoor and outdoor areas with her signature: a large lounge, tennis courts, and a dining room. It is in this third space that it is possible to taste the cuisine of French chef Marine Hervouet on the occasion of the opening of the pop-up / travelling restaurant WE ARE ONA.
With Clay Court Club, Cristina Celestino goes off the beaten track and conquers the clay court, scattering references to the tennis court through fabrics and furniture from publishers (Besana, Billiani, Dedar, Atmosphera, Bilumen), all with a beautiful arbitrage of prints and colours.
From 14 to 23 April, from 10 am to 8 pm at Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa – via Giuseppe Arimondi, 15 – Milan Design Week.
