Horto restaurant has opened the doors to its green paradise in the heart of Milan. Perched at the top of The Medelan building, this gastronomic arcadia driven by Osvaldo Bosetti and Diego Panizza is an invitation to live a new culinary experience. Horto offers a varied and refined cuisine based on Ethical Time, a concept that makes the most of local and seasonal raw materials.
In the kitchen, South Tyrolean chef Norbert Niederkofler (three-starred chef and author of the book Cook the Mountain) is the guarantor of this philosophy. He prepares dishes using only products harvested in the restaurant’s own gardens and from farms located less than an hour’s drive from Milan.
In terms of decoration, the Genius Loci architecture studio, with the help of the former dean of the Milan Polytechnic Luisa Collina and the landscape designer Raffaella Colombo, has taken over and proposed an organic and enveloping décor, custom-made to be in symbiosis with nature. A new definition of gastronomy.
