Uchronia is exhibiting at the Hôtel de la Marine
Paris Design Week 2024 • If sleeping were an Olympic sport, the event would take place in this bed designed by Uchronia. While it holds a prominent place in the collections of editors and designers, this everyday item is reimagined by the Parisian collective founded by Julien Sebban, with GOODMOODS as a partner for the event, during Paris Design Week 2024 and the European Heritage Days.
Featuring a headboard by Treca Paris, ceramic frames by Palet by Studio GdB, curtains and drapes by Casamance, paints by Tonester, lighting by DCWéditions, and handles by Bonnemazou-Cambus, this XXL bed reinterprets traditional elements of canopy beds and French beds. What better place to present this unique exhibition titled « Day Bed » than the Cour d’Honneur of the Hôtel de la Marine? It is a celebration of history, design, and innovation, paying homage to the beds found in the Apartments of the Intendants of the Crown’s Garde-Meuble.
