Terminal 2G
Ladies and gentlemen, take-off for Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
When Dorothée Meilichzon (CHZON studio) hits the tarmac, an entire boarding lounge is transformed. Fountain and Luxembourg chairs, plastic piping in the Pompidou Museum style, plump benches with houndstooth fabric, verdigris shades drawn from the Seine… Dorothée Meilichzon takes height and transforms Terminal 2G into a mini Paris 60s-70s.
The furniture, as muted as it is quirky, signed by CHZON studio, is mixed with aerial remains such as vintage wall lamps from ENAC or reactor suspensions found at the Saint-Ouen flea market with Gilbert Kann. In all: 1300 m2 celebrating the French touch, its Decorative Arts and its scenes of Parisian life.
