Rising Talent Awards Spain 2023

The 2023 edition of the Rising Talent Awards has been buzzing with Spanish design. Last January, as it does every year, the Maison&Objet show dedicated its international springboard to one country in particular: Spain, which is experiencing a great creative boom.

In addition to the worldwide influence of established designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Jaime Hayon and Masquespacio, and the consecration of Valencia as the design capital of Spain in 2022, Spanish design is strengthening its presence on the design scene thanks to a new wave of talent whose creative strength is based on innovation, sustainability and commitment.

Seven designers from all over the country, from Cordoba to Barcelona, Santiago de Compostela, Madrid and Mallorca, were in the spotlight. Their names? Marta Ayala Herrera; Marta Ayala Herrera ; Max Mila Serra ; Miguel Leiro ; Tornasol Studio ; Marta Armengol ; Alvaro Aramburu and Josep Safont (CRAFT winner).
