Reflecting the French art of living and the excellence of Haute Orfèvrerie know-how, Christofle’s new DELLIPSE collection celebrates the great moments of life. Designed by Paris-based American architect Elliott Barnes, a great defender of French tradition and craftsmanship, it pays tribute to the rituals of champagne.

Artisanal prowess brings the majesty of the design to life. Driven by the light and the power of the material, Elliott Barnes has designed three elegant champagne accessories: a bucket, a bowl and a champagne sabre with twisted lines. Each piece is made in a limited edition by the master goldsmiths of the Yainville factory, numbered and hallmarked.

DELLIPSE owes its name to its shape: Barnes had the idea of combining the two Cs of Christofle and Champagne to design an ellipse. A curved, twisted shape made by planishing, the oldest technique for shaping sheet metal. « This seemingly simple and obvious twist is actually very complex, » says Elliott Barnes. The shape of the bowl and bucket is fluid, sensual and alive. They can thus be appreciated from different angles, depending on the way you look at them and the movement of the light. A look back at this exclusive collection designed by Elliott Barnes, staged and captured by GOODMOODS.
