Crystal Everyday

© Goodmoods & Cyrille Robin

For the time of a summer interlude, the Saint-Louis crystal pieces slip into the key moments of everyday life in Paris. After having set them in a country lunch scene, the Goodmoods studio is now sublimating them in the heart of the city, with its anodyne rituals that give Paris its coveted je-ne-sais-quoi.

In the early hours of the morning, breakfast is a must in the bistro, with cream coffee, croissant and fruit juice served in the latest Cadence ribbed crystal service designed by Pierre Charpin. A visit to the greengrocer is a mandatory step, where herbs, fruits and juices are displayed in highballs and bowls with subtle horizontal lines. At the most beautiful flowershop in the neighbourhood, delicately curved vases and bud vases compete for attention with the seasonal flowers. At the end of the day, we head for the terrace of an elegant brasserie, where the aperitif is served in star-shaped stemmed glasses. Suddenly, Paris has regained its magic.
