Faina

Contemporary Ukrainian tradition.

Victoriya Yakusha’s convictions. The Ukrainian designer launched her design studio FAINA in 2014 as an artistic reflection of the Dignity Revolution, emblem of a new breath of life in the country.

Terracotta, linen, willow, wood. Colours and natural materials for simple and pure lines. Naive pieces of furniture and decoration, inspired by the Scythian civilisation at the time of Trypillia (5th and 4th millennia BC). A perfect balance between contemporary and ethnic design, full of authenticity and poetry. During the last Salone di mobile in Milan, the designer exhibited three of her pieces in the Studiopepe installation.
