Case Study 01 Odami

Odami, three syllables for three caps: architecture, decoration and furniture design. All worn by two friends: Spanish architect Aránzazu González Bernardo and Canadian designer Michael Norman Fohring.

When they discovered a 130-year-old red oak tree in the family garden that was ready to fall, the duo came up with the « Case Study 01 » collection. Each of their pieces was crafted from thick slabs of solid wood made exclusively from this tree. As the wood dried, it stretched, deformed and split. Vitality is captured in this inevitably very limited edition.
