An Irish family conquering New York.
An Irish family conquering New York! This is the story of a couple – Brian and Rosie McGuigan – who opened a discreet craft shop in the 1970s. 40 years later, supported by their son Cieran as artistic director, the company opened a showroom in the Tribeca side of town.
A family heritage, a handcrafted production, models that go through the years: this is Orior’s recipe which since last year has seen its popularity continue to rise. The brand juggles with brightly coloured velvets, deep green marbles and shiny woods. We can sense a touch of Ettore Sottsass into their gritty creations.
