Maison Delas Frères
Dans la vallée du Rhône, en face de la mythique colline de l’Hermitage, la maison de vin et d’hôtes Delas Frères ouvre les portes de son nouvel écrin entièrement imaginé par GOODMOODS. De la direction artistique à l’aménagement, de la curation des œuvres à la création d’éléments sur mesure, le studio GOODMOODS a aidé ce lieu de prestige à faire peau neuve dans un savant mélange entre tradition et modernité.
Plus de deux ans de travaux ont permis de réhabiliter l’espace en collaboration avec l’architecte Carl Fredrik Svensted et les équipes de Siltec. Dans un mood résolument chaleureux et bucolique, les inspirations végétales de la vigne alentour et les influences provençales ont remis la lumière sur cette maison de vin fondée en 1835.
Un écrin idéal pour les créations de GOODMOODS EDITIONS comme les bouteilles en céramique, qui font un pied de nez aux bouteilles de vin, et qui ont été façonnées à quelques kilomètres de là par la Maison Jars. Un projet capturé par la talentueuse Nathalie Mohadjer. Lever de rideau !
The new architecture of the winery was entrusted to the Swedish Carl Fredrik Svenstedt. It reveals a monumental white wall that separates the production space from the terraces in a subtle tribute to the Hermitage hill, its valleys and the light-colored stone of the Luberon.
In the wine tasting room, the monumental bar was made of terracotta tiles custom-made by Fornace Brioni. Jaime Hayon's Vuelta sofas and armchairs, upholstered in Kvadrat fabrics surround Cristina Celestino's Caryllon coffee tables (Wiener GTV Design).
In the large dining room, the pink marble tables were custom made and the chairs (Moroso) were colored in Kvadrat fabric. Just behind, ceramic vases by Ukrainian studio Faina coexist with 19th-century jars that were found. The silkscreen Color Slices is by Goodmoods Editions.
Artworks by artist Frédéric Heurlier Cimolaï(Galerie Amélie Maison d'art) recall the bottles that line the walls of the room and echo the La Consigne bottles carefully customized for the project. Libeco linen curtains coexist with a custom rope work by Véronique de Soultrait.
Below, furniture, cane lighting (Wiener GTV Design) and wicker hanging baskets by Ukrainian studio Faina echo the spirit of the garden and the vine, omnipresent in the inspirations. The &Tradition sofas and armchairs recall the original 19th century charm of the house. Rug by Hanna Korvela for Jules & Jim and Color Slices screenprint by Goodmoods Editions.
In the entrance hall, compositions by Brazilian Carlos Stoffel (Wilo & grove gallery) set the tone for the moss-green living room and echoed India Mahdavi's tricolored lacquer table. The rope mirror was designed by Goodmoods and custom-made by Véronique de Soultrait.
In the shelves the bottles La Consigne cohabit with mottled jars from different eras and echo the nearby southern region. The furniture alternates rope, straw and cane.
Opposite the bamboo and brass desk, sourced from Atelier Vime, sits an armchair by Guillerme and Chambron sourced at a flea market. Jars and baskets (Atmosphere from Elsewhere) frame the space while the Lamp Mallow and bottles La Consigne play props for Goodmoods Editions alongside a work by Frederic Heuler Cimolaï (Amélie maison d'art).
In the rooms, the works alternate between a painting by Claire de Chavagnac Brugnon (left) and a Color Slices screenprint (right). The green palette ranges from moss, to foliage, to almond.
Upstairs, the twelve rooms are decorated all in color, each in a different palette, the latter combining coral, camel and coffee in the image of the Playground cushions and the Post-it screen print. All of the cushions and bedspreads were made from, Pierre Frey fabrics and the houndstooth bench was made by Studio Asaï for Arflex.
A large meeting room and library was imagined for the house guests. A wavy pink marble table was custom created (Carl Frederic Svenstedt design). Suspended lights by Servomuto play the role of umbrellas, while the large abstract artwork by Frédéric Heurlier Cimolaï recalls the organic vegetation of the surroundings. The chairs at Verpan are covered in Kvadrat Vidar fabric.
In a more intimate, boudoir-like dining room, a brass pendant was custom made by Areti. At the back the Provencal jar-shaped lamp (Casa Lopez) sits atop a mottled console. The chairs are signed Møbel copenhagen.
