Labyrinth
When designer Jean-Paul Gaultier gets involved with prints, the result is a remarkable collaboration with LAFUMA MOBILIER and Lelièvre Paris. Although their disciplines are at odds with each other, their exceptional know-how comes together with finesse to sign an outdoor collection in the spirit of the times.
The « leaf brand » unveils two of its iconic seats with metal tubes and a cushion dressed in the « haute couture » fabric designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, published and distributed by the French company Lelièvre Paris. Entitled Labyrinthe, the fabric is adorned with a black and white graphic pattern inspired by ready-to-wear clothing, the geometry of mazes, and a « bronze » band that echoes the Pop years, African art, and vintage LAFUMA MOBILIER models published in the 1950s. An inspired collection, designed and manufactured in France, which juggles genres and makes the prints go round
