“Couleur café, que j’aime ta couleur café? » Serge Gainsbourg’s lyrics have never been so much in vogue. While coffee shops and bistros with their exquisite decorations are consumed like whey, the earthy shades of coffee are not to be outdone.
Sometimes sweet and tangy, sometimes bitter and full-bodied, but always round and suave, the caffeinated range passes through the filter of designers (Sarah Ellison, Bisa Studio, Charles Zana) and architects (Patricia Bustos, Estudio DIIR, Corto Corto, argia architecture) to make its bed on the whole art of living. A “coffee blend” cameo that soothes atmospheres, if not awakens them. Colors are also roasting in cosmetics, with new beauty brands such as Rhode (Hailey Bieber) espressoh and Glossier playing on different shades of brown with a touch of glamour.
