The creative scene is developing a passion for Asia. In addition to events in Paris, such as the exhibition « The Art of Japanese Carpenters, » which tells the story of Japanese craftsmanship in traditional architecture, and the 9th edition of the Asia NOW fair, celebrating the richness of Asian art, international interior designers and designers are tastefully reappropriating the traditional codes of East Asia.

In the projects of these creatives (DIMORESTUDIO, Laura Gonzalez, Hugo Toro, Friedmann & Versace) that influence the industry, embroideries are taking over silks and other precious textiles, paper lanterns and lanterns are adorned with unique pleats, murals and screens depict dynastic scenes and distinctive Eastern landscapes, and lacquer is offered in an ultra-glossy version. This return to 19th-century Asian art injects a touch of opulence and rarity into interiors. Take a journey into this fantasized Asia.
