The mood of

Alex Proba

Painter, designer, graphic artist, illustrator, architect… Alex Proba has more than one trick up her sleeve! Destined to become a doctor, the creative artist finally decided on a completely different destiny: after joining the Design Academy in Eindhoven, she took on a series of high-profile contracts. Art director for Kickstarter, design director for the agency Mother, then in the Nike art studio.

Fascinated by the colours of her grandmother’s flower arrangements and a faithful transcriber of the atmospheres and details that surround her, Alex Proba draws a shimmering and naive world with abstract and endearing forms. A joyful and regressive aesthetic that she transcribes through Little Proba, a charity for which she makes rugs inspired by children’s drawings. A candid encounter.
